Whose leads fell most in the last two weeks, and what did we tell them on the last call?

Across 9 clients

Three clients dropped by more than 15%.

  • Brightline: conversions down 31% on the fortnight before, with Meta spend flat.
  • Fernhill Goods: Shopify orders down 18%, almost all from new customers.
  • Linden Physio: Search Console clicks down 22%; positions held.

From the call notes

On Brightline’s October 9 call, you agreed to test a shorter lead form. The notes don’t say it went live.

What the server does

One MCP server with your clients already in it.

An MCP server is an address you add to Claude or ChatGPT so it can read and use another system. This one is your agency’s: your clients’ accounts, your documents and your playbooks.

Numbers across clients

Every client side by side for the last 14 days against the 14 before, biggest drops first, from their ad accounts, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Business Profile, Shopify, Klaviyo and HubSpot.

Client documents

Search and read call transcripts, research, competitor notes and briefs across clients or for one, plus your library of benchmarks, rate cards and playbooks.

Your playbooks, on demand

Run any of your agency’s skills on one client’s data before a call. Only your team sees the answer; each client allows 100 team runs a month.

What needs you

Which clients asked for help, which answers need a look, whose data couldn’t be read, and how the week went.

Improve a skill

Teach a skill from an answer, try the new version, and give clients the new version once it’s approved.

Add to it

Add a client or library document from the chat, or push call transcripts in through the API or Zapier.

For the technical reader: the tools include compare_clients, get_client_numbers, search_client_documents, read_client_document, run_for_client, needs_you and week_summary. The same tools are on the REST API. API docs.

Who sees what

Each person signs in.
Each sees their own clients.
Nothing changes without approval.

The worries that stop agencies from plugging client data into AI, answered by how the server works.

Everyone signs in as themselvesEach person adds the same address and signs in with their own login. Nobody shares a key.
Members reach only their clientsAn account manager’s AI sees the clients they work with. Owners and admins see all of them.
Client accounts are read onlyIt never changes a campaign, a budget or a record in a client’s accounts.
Changes wait for approvalWith “Let it make changes” switched on, the AI shows exactly what it wants to do, and it happens only once someone approves it in the app.
Every call is keptThe app lists what each person’s AI asked for, from which app, and when.
One switch turns it offTurning the server off signs out every AI on the team; turning it on again gives a new address.

Honest comparison

An MCP gateway, your own server, or this?

Three different things go by similar names. They suit different teams.

An MCP gateway

For companies that already run many MCP servers and need to route, secure and audit them, such as Kong’s or Docker’s.

Limitation: it brings no client data or tools. Someone still builds and hosts the servers behind it.

Building your own server

Your developers write tools against each ad platform’s and app’s API, handle each person’s sign-in, keep clients apart, and host it.

Limitation: weeks of work up front, and every API change after that is yours to fix.

ExpertRelay

The server, the client connections, the documents and the permissions already exist. You connect accounts and add the address.

Limitation: it runs our tools, not yours. You can’t add your own code or other MCP servers to it, and it reads only the sources we support.

When a gateway is the right call: if your company needs to govern MCP servers it already runs, use a gateway. This page is for agencies that want their client work in their team’s AI without building anything.

Setup

Connected in an afternoon.

1

Connect clients’ accounts

Ad accounts, Google Analytics, Search Console and the rest, each matched to its client in the app.

2

Switch on your AI

In Settings, “Connect your AI” gives your agency’s server address.

3

Everyone adds it

In Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors → Create, where your plan allows custom connectors. Each person signs in as themselves.

Technical agency owners ask

Questions about your agency’s MCP server.

What is an internal MCP server?

It's an address you add to Claude or ChatGPT so it can read and use your own systems. ExpertRelay gives each agency one, already connected to its clients' accounts and documents, so there's nothing to build or host.

Can everyone on the team use it from their own Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Each person adds the same address and signs in with their own login. Members reach only the clients they work with; owners and admins reach all of them.

Can it change campaigns or client accounts?

No. Client accounts are read only: it never changes a campaign, a budget or a record. Changes inside ExpertRelay, like giving clients a new version of a skill, need "Let it make changes" switched on and an approval in the app.

Do clients see what our team asks?

No. Your team's questions and the skills it runs for a client stay with your team. They aren't in the client's activity or their monthly questions.

Is this an MCP gateway?

No. A gateway routes and secures MCP servers your company already runs. ExpertRelay is one ready-made server for agency work, and you can't put your own servers or code behind it.

Can we use the same tools from our own scripts, Zapier or n8n?

Yes. API keys reach the same tools over HTTP, read only or able to make changes. A key that can make changes acts without the approval step, so give those out carefully.

What does it cost?

$99 a month for the agency. That covers the whole team, its AI and API, the library, and the team's work on up to 25 clients. Turning a client's own AI on is $49 a month for that client. The first 14 days are free.
