For HubSpot agencies

Clients ask “are these leads any good?” on every call. Start charging for the answer.

Your team answers it for free, inside the retainer. Put that answer in each client’s own ChatGPT or Claude, read from their HubSpot and ad spend, and in their inbox every Monday, signed by your agency.

Bill it as an add-on. It costs you $49 per client, on the $99 agency plan.

Client

We got 40% more leads this month. Are they any good?

Look closer

More leads, but fewer of them reach sales.

  • New contacts from paid social: up 41% on the two weeks before.
  • Contacts reaching sales-qualified: about the same as before.
  • New deals in the pipeline: 6, down from 9.

What this means

The extra leads are mostly stuck at the first stage. Cost per lead looks better while cost per deal is getting worse.

Next step

Look at the lead form and audience on the paid-social campaigns that grew. Hold off on raising their budget until more of those leads reach sales-qualified.

Limit: HubSpot totals show where deals stall, not why. Ask the sales team about the deals stuck at the first stage.

Based on: HubSpot contacts by source and stage, deals by stage, Meta and Google Ads spend

What the $99 is for

Your team asks across every client’s HubSpot.
Before any client sees it.

Your own Claude or ChatGPT reads each client’s HubSpot and ad spend, the call notes you add and your playbooks. Answers stay with your team.

Your team asks
  • “Whose new contacts fell most in the last two weeks?”New contacts and deals for every client against the fortnight before, worst first.
  • “Run the lead review on Brightline before Thursday’s call.”Your own review on their HubSpot stages and ad spend, for your team’s eyes only.
  • “What did we tell Brightline about their lead form?”It searches the call notes and documents you added for that client.
Then turn clients on
  • Try it on your own clients firstLink up to 25 clients’ HubSpot portals from the logins your team already has. Your reviews run on them, and no client sees a word.
  • Then $49 for each client you open it toThat client asks your lead review in their own ChatGPT or Claude and gets it every Monday. Close it again and the $49 stops.

Your work, seen between calls

Lead quality, in their inbox every week.

Schedule the lead review for each client: weekly, every two weeks or monthly. It runs on that week’s HubSpot contacts, deals and ad spend, and arrives in your agency’s name. Your team can read it and add a note before it goes.

Every review sent also adds up on the client’s own page, with a list of things to fix. How scheduled reviews and client pages work.

Each client’s own HubSpot

What a review reads from HubSpot.

Your team or the client pastes a read-only HubSpot service key once, with two scopes: contacts and deals. Reviews read it as totals and never change a record.

New contacts

Per day, by original source (paid search, paid social, organic search, email and so on) and by lifecycle stage.

Deals

By pipeline and stage, with deal amounts and closed-won amounts.

Period

A month of daily contact counts, plus two-week totals compared with the fortnight before.

Never a contact’s name, email, phone number, notes or a single record: HubSpot numbers arrive added up. In the same review it can also read the client’s Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Google Analytics 4. Everything a review can read.

Pick the HubSpot question your team answers on every monthly call, and write down how you answer it.

Examples only; you bring the review.

Lead-quality review

Are the leads we pay for reaching sales-qualified, and from which channels?

Cost-per-deal check

What does each new deal cost once ad spend is set against deals, not just leads?

Pipeline pace

Is the pipeline filling faster or slower than last month, and at which stage is it stalling?

Channel mix review

Which sources bring contacts that become customers, and which only fill the database?

Honest comparison

HubSpot’s own ChatGPT and Claude connector, or this?

As of 2026, HubSpot has its own connector for ChatGPT and Claude. They do different jobs.

HubSpot’s connector

Lets someone with HubSpot access look up and update contacts, deals and notes from ChatGPT or Claude. A HubSpot Super Admin, or someone with App Marketplace permissions, connects it.

Limitation: It answers whatever the person asks, from HubSpot alone. It doesn’t know how your agency judges lead quality, and it doesn’t see the client’s ad spend.

ExpertRelay

Answers with your agency’s review, reading the client’s HubSpot totals next to their ad accounts and Google Analytics. You choose which clients get it and update it once for all of them.

Limitation: Totals only, so it can’t look up one contact or one deal. Clients on free ChatGPT can’t add it yet; they need Plus or Pro.

When HubSpot’s connector is enough: If a client only wants to look up records or tidy their CRM, HubSpot’s own connector is enough. Many agencies will want both: theirs for the records, yours for the judgment.

How it works

From your playbook to their HubSpot numbers.

1

Write down your lead review

What counts as a good lead for this client, which lifecycle stages matter, and when to say there isn’t enough data yet.

2

Your client links HubSpot

Their invite page asks for HubSpot and the ad accounts your lead review uses, once.

3

Leads get judged between calls

When the client wonders whether last week’s leads were any good, they ask in ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor and get your team’s read.

HubSpot agencies ask

Questions about HubSpot and client reviews.

Can clients get the lead review without asking for it?

Yes. Schedule it and it lands in their inbox in your agency's name, run on that week's HubSpot and ad numbers: weekly, every two weeks or monthly. Your team can approve each one before it's sent.

Can ChatGPT or Claude read my client's HubSpot through ExpertRelay?

Yes, as totals. Once the client connects HubSpot from their invite page, your review reads new contacts by original source and lifecycle stage, and deals by pipeline and stage with their amounts. It never sees a contact's name, email or phone number.

Can it change anything in HubSpot?

No. Reviews only read. They never create, update or delete a contact, a deal or a note.

Why not just use HubSpot's own ChatGPT or Claude connector?

Use it when someone needs to look up or edit records. It answers whatever is asked, from HubSpot alone. ExpertRelay answers with your agency's review, puts HubSpot next to the client's ad spend, and lets you choose which clients have it.

Can one review read HubSpot and the ad accounts together?

Yes. A review can read the client's HubSpot alongside their Google, Meta, LinkedIn and other ad accounts and Google Analytics 4, so it can set spend against new leads and deals.

What if the client's HubSpot isn't set up cleanly?

Write the review so it says what's missing, such as contacts with no lifecycle stage or deals with no amount, and stops short of a verdict. Test it on a messy account before offering it to clients.

Can one client see another client's HubSpot numbers?

No. Each client's review reads only the accounts that client connected.

How much does it cost for a HubSpot agency?

$99 a month for your agency, plus $49 a month for each client you turn it on for, with no setup fee, after 14 free days. Each client can ask up to 300 times a month, and you can set a lower cap. What you charge the client for it is up to you; we bill only your agency.
